Bret Manley Trilogy

the passagewayThis past October I visited western Connecticut to research scenes for the third novel of my Bret Manley Trilogy, following ‘To Sleep … Perchance to Die’ and ‘Revenge Best Served Bloody.’  Although I’ve lived most of my life in Connecticut, I had previously visited that part of the State only once and for just two days.  This visit allowed me to become familiar with another and particularly beautiful part of Connecticut. Rustic towns and villages set among mountains provided majestic vistas, especially so as the mountains were in full bloom exhibiting the wild colors of the autumn leaves. The visit confirmed my decision to include this region in the upcoming book.

As with the final movement of a symphony, I feel that my third crime fiction novel will provide a satisfactory conclusion to the Bret Manley Trilogy.
